With BBC credits, a cross-European tour and JazzFM features under their belt, Tobie is an accomplished member of the British jazz scene. Tobie learnt the trade touring the North of England, busking and hustling for gigs in bars and restaurants. Since then, they have toured Europe and held residencies at several London venues.

Tobie's recent sold-out concerts include at The Vortex Jazz Club with Antoine Boyer and as part of the Mozes Rosenberg Quartet at Crazy Coq's Soho. Tobie has released several records, led the period orchestra the ‘Huddersfield Bach Collegium’ in its 2019-2020 season, played regular residency’s across the capital, performed at prestigious European venues including St Johns Smith Square, Jazzbina Sarajevo, Matt & Phreds Manchester and Leeds Town Hall, and headlined Bosnia’s ‘Mostar Gipsy Festival’.

Tobie is also a busy producer and is director of the Gypsy Jazz Festival of London and Future Fable Records: London Jazz Sessions video series, recordings and gigs. They have also produced a host of other concerts including, recently, "Festival of French Jazz" at the hugely prestigious St. Paul's Covent Garden. As a producer (and often player too) Tobie has worked with some of the world's foremost jazz musicians, including John Etheridge, Ian Shaw, Mozes Rosenberg, Fapy Lafertin and Antoine Boyer.

Tobies Gypsy Jazz Trio, 'Skylark Trio' has hosted the Sunday Jazz at Signature Brew since 2019 - this is a weekly gig featuring special guests from the UK jazz circuit, with Jam Sessions and special events. The trio have also held residencies at Silverstone Racecourse, Ruby's Dalston, Cafe Cairo, Mr Fogg’s Society of Exploration and Bluecoats Tottenham.

Tobie writes distinctive, unique music for newly founded quartet 'The Aviary'. The band is built of the quirky line up of Violin, Electric Archtop Guitar, Acoustic Rhythm Guitar and Double Bass, and as well as Tobie's compositions - which are inspired by elements of free improvisation, bebop, modern classical and swing - play modern jazz and Gypsy Jazz standards.
